GOODLES Down the Hatch Queso Fundido Recipe
Takes 40 minutes
Serves 4-6 as an appetizer
Ingredients:
1 box GOODLES Down the Hatch Mac and Cheese-the-hatch/ - prepared according to package instructions (with the butter!)
1/2 cup cooked chorizo sausage
1/2 cup shredded Chihuahua cheese
1/2 cup shredded Oaxaca cheese
Pico de gallo - store bought or homemade
Chips for serving
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350
Spread the chorizo across the bottom of a small baking dish or cast iron pan.
In a bowl, mix the prepared mac and cheese with the shredded cheeses.
Pour the mac and cheese mixture over the chorizo and pat it down to pack it tight.
Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes until melted and gooey, but not so long that a crust forms on top.
Top the pan with pico de gallo and serve with chips.
