Mac that keeps you happy, not hangry

Team Goodles

Mmm, satisfying.

Sooo is anyone else a little tired of the interwebs telling them what to put in their bodies? Keto this, low-fat that, intermittent fasting on Tuesdays...yeah, we’re booked, thanks. Sure, we want to do right by our bodies, but we also want to feel full and enjoy food, because food is awesome. That’s especially true for our favorite comfort foods that always seem to satisfy us. So what if we told you that you don’t have to make any sacrifices on your quest for culinary satisfaction when it comes to your beloved mac and cheese?  It’s true!

Let’s look at the science:

In addition to lit-er-ally being delicious, GOODLES is made with nutrients you don’t often find in the boxed mac aisle. (We always were overachievers.) Grab a spork and let’s dig in to see how our magical mac manages to get it done:

  • PROTEIN: Anyone who’s experienced les mis of a sugar crash probably didn’t get enough of this muscle-building fuel source. GOODLES has 15 grams of protein per serving* — that’s as much as a serving of Greek yogurt.** Whether you use that to power your next workout or your next nap is up to you. (Hey, they don’t call it a power nap for nothing…)

  • FIBER: In addition to bringing vitamins, minerals and bragging rights to the table, Goodles is loaded with fiber. In fact, we use a special wheat with 10x the fiber of traditional whea! And more fiber, feel full longer. That’s because all that plant roughage actually slows down your meal’s transit time (AKA 👄 ➡️ 🚽), so you won’t be reaching for the fridge door immediately after eating. (That is, unless you’ve got a case of the munchies…)

  • TEXTURE: You’ve probably heard that solids provide more satiety than liquids — e.g., an orange leaves you more satisfied than a glass of OJ. Of course, the hearty texture of our noodle goes a long way in this department.  But wait, there’s more! It turns out that a food’s viscosity — that is, its thickness — plays a big role here, too, and you know what’s viscous? Cheese! So in the name of hunger, permission granted to lay it on thick.

*As prepared. We should mention it’s only 14 grams of protein if you eat a serving straight out of the box, but...we’re not sure why you’d do that. Take the ten minutes to cook that mac up!

**FAGE Total 5% contains 15 grams of protein per ¾-cup serving.
