Takes 30 minutes
Serves 2 people
Ingredients
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 thick slices bacon
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F
Spread the brown sugar, garlic powder, black pepper, and chili powder onto a piece of parchment. Stir to combine.
Twirl the ends of the bacon until it is tightly wound into a long stick. Roll the bacon into the brown sugar mixture.
Place the bacon on a cooking rack or a parchment lined baking sheet. Use a skewer at each end to secure the bacon.
Cook at 350F for about 35 minutes until fully cooked and crispy.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the GOODLES noodles to package instructions. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the cooking water before straining. Strain and add to a mixing bowl.
Stir in the pasta cooking liquid, milk, butter, and cream cheese.
Split the mac and cheese into two ramekins. Sprinkle the sugar evenly on top of both.
Use a kitchen torch to melt and brown the sugar on top. Alternatively you can do this under your broiler on high, but keep a close eye on it!
Serve with the bacon on top!
