Takes 30 minutes

Serves 2 people

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

  • 2 thick slices bacon

  • 1 box GOODLES Bling Bling Bac’n

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Spread the brown sugar, garlic powder, black pepper, and chili powder onto a piece of parchment. Stir to combine.

  3. Twirl the ends of the bacon until it is tightly wound into a long stick. Roll the bacon into the brown sugar mixture.

  4. Place the bacon on a cooking rack or a parchment lined baking sheet. Use a skewer at each end to secure the bacon.

  5. Cook at 350F for about 35 minutes until fully cooked and crispy.

  6. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the GOODLES noodles to package instructions. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the cooking water before straining. Strain and add to a mixing bowl.

  7. Stir in the pasta cooking liquid, milk, butter, and cream cheese.

  8. Split the mac and cheese into two ramekins. Sprinkle the sugar evenly on top of both.

  9. Use a kitchen torch to melt and brown the sugar on top. Alternatively you can do this under your broiler on high, but keep a close eye on it!

  10.  Serve with the bacon on top!
